Rob Cook joined as a director in 2024.  He currently serves as Vice President of Risk Governance and Audit at Gilead Sciences overseeing the Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, and Internal Audit functions.  His responsibilities include leading Gilead’s global risk management processes and audit activities in areas such as compliance, operational, information systems and cybersecurity audits.  Prior to joining Gilead, Mr. Cook led the internal audit and risk function at Yahoo; prior to that, he served as Vice President, Internal Audit at Chiron Corporation. He was also formerly a Partner in KPMG’s advisory practice and has served in the consulting practice at A.T. Kearney.  Mr. Cook holds an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California and a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
